Realme 16 Pro Series has once again created a wave of interest in the smartphone market. Realme has officially started sharing teasers about the launch of its upcoming 16 Pro series, which makes it clear that the series is set to launch on January 6, 2026 in India and select international markets. The company is yet to issue a formal invite for the full launch event, but credible leaks and reports have confirmed the date. This also indicates that this launch is part of Realme’s early 2026 plan and will further strengthen the brand’s market presence.
Regarding the launch, experts say that this time Realme will present the 16 Pro as well as the 16 Pro+ model, which will have high-end features and premium hardware. The previous 15 Pro series dropped the Pro+ model, but now both models will offer better options for users, especially in terms of camera, design and performance. This new series aims to strengthen Realme’s portfolio of mid-to-upper range phones and provide a better experience to tech enthusiasts.
The design of the Realme 16 Pro Series is the focus of attention this time as Realme has collaborated with world-renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. Fukasawa’s design philosophy combines sophistication, simplicity and modernity in the look and feel of the phone, making it clear that each model in the series will be stylish and user-friendly. According to the teaser images, the back panel of the 16 Pro series has a dual-tone finish, with a matte texture and a shiny camera module perfectly integrated.
The phone will be available in different colors, including Camellia Pink, Orchid Purple, Master Gold and Pebble Grey. Designers have used a combination of different shades to make the phone look not only modern but also classic and premium for everyday use. The unique pattern of horizontal lenses of the rear camera module makes the phone stand out from other smartphones and makes the design more durable and appealing in line with the latest market trends.
16 Pro Series will also provide better user experience in terms of hardware. According to leaks, the 16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display and a 144Hz refresh rate, perfect for gaming and media viewing. The phone will have a 7000mAh battery, which will also have fast charging facility so that there is no battery problem during long usage.
Regarding the camera, the series will come with a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 200MP main sensor and an 8MP secondary lens, while the front will have a 50MP selfie camera. The Pro+ model is also expected to have a telephoto or periscope lens, which will further enhance zoom and imaging capabilities. In terms of processing, the Base 16 Pro will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 or Snapdragon chipset in some regions, while the Pro+ will provide high-end processing power. The phone will come with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, which provides users with new features and great customization options.
Realme 16 Pro Series will be an attractive choice for users in the market thanks to its innovative design, powerful camera, high resolution display and strong battery. The series will further strengthen Realme’s mid- and high-range portfolio and provide a premium smartphone experience for tech enthusiasts. After the launch, the phone is expected to garner a lot of interest and fan attention in the market, especially for those who want an advanced smartphone in terms of camera, design and performance.
